Tramore Valley Park open as a public park in 2019. It’s the perfect place to go and stretch your legs, just 10 minutes’ drive from Cork International Hotel.
The former landfill site has undergone extensive work to transform it into a public park under the management of The Glen Resource & Sports Centre on behalf of Cork City Council. On the site there is a 2.5km walk route and The Dome, one of the best viewing points of the city. In addition, there is also an outdoor gym, BMX Track and Rugby Pitch.
It the perfect place to go for a morning run, a kick around in the afternoon or a leisurely stroll in the evening. The park is open at 8:30am every day and closes at the following times throughout the year:
