Crawford Art Gallery opens Monday- Friday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and Sundays 11:00am – 4:00 pm. Admission is free. 

 

The Blarney Castle and Gardens 

Just over 20 minutes drive from Cork International Airport, The Blarney Castle and Gardens is a must-see on a visit to Cork. Start your visit off with a venture down to the romantic ‘Rock Close’, walk through the tranquil and diverse Blarney gardens before exploring the Blarney Castle, and maybe even bestowing the gift of eloquence after kissing the Blarney Stone.

Fota Wildlife Park 

Fota Wildlife Park is a beloved family experience located twenty minutes from the Cork International Hotel. 

With over 100 acres to explore filled with different animal habitats, you are sure to enjoy an educational and entertaining day out.

The park opens 10am-6pm Monday-Sunday and tickets can be purchased online on the Fota Wildlife website.

 

Atlantic Offshore Adventure

Zipit Forest Adventure

Spike Island 

Step back in time with a visit to Spike Island. Spike Island previously existed as the world’s largest prison but is now open for the public to explore. 

Visit several museums, exhibitions, scenic walks, Cafe and gift shops on the island to enjoy a day of history and entertainment.

The English Market

With roots originating back to 1688, the English market is filled with the best of Cork’s produce and food stalls whilst boasting a lively atmosphere.

St Patricks Hill

Formerly known for being a gunpowder production site for the British armed forces in the 18th century, the Ballincollig park now stands as one of Cork’s beloved recreational parks. 

The park comprises open Grass areas, soccer and rugby pitches, woodland, playground & Multi Use games areas. A skate park and outdoor fitness equipment are installed at the Western end of the park available for public use.
